Cystic Fibrosis holds a special place in the heart of our AAGI family. Suzanne, the founder of AAGI, knows this battle firsthand—her son, Lloyd, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at a young age. As carriers of the CF gene, Suzanne and her husband faced a 1 in 4 chance that their child would develop the disease. Lloyd spent much of his early life in the hospital, fighting through life-threatening complications.
Despite the lifelong challenges and shortened life expectancy that CF brings, advancements in research and treatments—made possible by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation—have dramatically improved the quality of life for those affected. Thanks to these medical breakthroughs, Lloyd continues to navigate life with resilience and determination.
The 65 Roses Classic is more than just a gymnastics competition; it’s our way of giving back, raising awareness, and funding research to fight CF. Last year, through your generosity, we raised an incredible $15,575 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Every dollar donated helps fund vital research, develop new treatments, and move us closer to a cure.
Join us in making a difference! Every donation, big or small, helps support those living with CF and brings hope for a future free of this disease. Together, we can make an impact.
