Cystic Fibrosis hits close to home for our AAGI family. Suzanne, the founder of AAGI, has a son diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Both Suzanne and her husband, carriers of the CF gene, faced the daunting odds of their son, Lloyd, having a 1 in 4 chance of developing the disease. Lloyd spent his early years battling life-threatening complications of Cystic Fibrosis in the hospital.
While Cystic Fibrosis presents lifelong challenges and a shortened life-span, advancements in research and medications, thanks to the CF Foundation, have improved the lives of those affected. Lloyd's journey has been managed, allowing him to experience life more fully.
Our annual 65 Roses Classic gymnastics competition is a heartfelt tribute to those touched by Cystic Fibrosis. Through this event, we aim to raise awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Last year, thanks to your support, we were blessed to donate a total of $6,000 from the competition and online contributions.
